Library, Museum and Performing Arts Buildings

Libraries, museums and performing arts facilities share many similar mechanical requirements to maintain the integrity of books and museum exhibits, as well as maintaining the ideal performing atmosphere for the players and instruments. Although this is not one of our primary niche specialties we have designed mechanical systems for some of the most recognized buildings in the area:  Denver Central Library, DU’s Newman Center for the Performing Arts, Robert Hoag Rawlings Library in Pueblo, The Wildlife Experience Museum in Lone Tree, and the forthcoming United States Olympic Museum in Colorado Springs.

These facilities require keen understanding of temperature, humidity, air movement, sound movement, and how various number occupants affect all of these aspects.  Following are examples of our project experience in this special type of building.
